The grow­ing an­d the pro­duc­tion of spice paprika in Szeged has a tra­di­tion which goes back over 250 years. Nowadays the ground­ing is made by mod­ern tech­no­logy stone mill­s which has a great pas­t.
Our paprika powder­s can be found in 5 qual­it­ies (ex­tra del­icatesse, del­icatesse, noble-­sweet, hot del­icatesse, rose) in con­sumer s­ize (50g, 100g, 250g, 1000g, in sack­s an­d in cyl­indric­al boxes) an­d in bag s­ize. Keep­ing track an­d doc­u­ment­ing the pro­cesses start­ing from sow­ing the seed­s through to the de­liv­ery of the pro­duct to the re­tail­er is im­port­ant for the con­sumer an­d also from the point of view of food safety. That is how this tra­di­tion­al pro­duct has be­come a mod­ern spice of the 21st cen­tury.
