Catfish with sauerkraut Hozzávalók:1 kg (21/4 lb) catfish, 1 kg (21/4 lb) sauerkraut, 50 g (2 oz) flour, 50 g (2 oz) fat, 200 ml (7 fl oz) soured cream, salt and paprika.
Elkészítés módjaClean the fish and cut it into slices. Cook the sauerkraut in water. Meanwhile make a roux with the fat, flour and paprika. Add to the sauerkraut when it is half cooked. Continue to cook over a moderate heat and when almost done, add the fish. Simmer until tender. Finally stir in the soured cream, bring almost to the boil and serve immediately. |
