"­Wo­men thread­ing paprika gar­land­s"
Cap­sic­um be­came ripe at the be­gin­ning of Septem­ber­. It wass usu­ally the wo­men who star­ted pick­ing it in this peri­od. Cap­sic­um was dried for a few days out­side, fol­lowed by the pro­cess of thread­ing. The cores with fer­tile seed­s were also se­lec­ted. Se­lec­tion was done by wo­men.
